Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan enjoys a huge fan base all over the world. Over the years, he has made a name for himself in the Hindi film industry with his hard work, dedication and versatile performances. Recently, he made the headlines for rejoicing in the win of his Indian Premiere League (IPL) cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The team won the qualifier and reached the finals after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad. 

While fans were busy rejoicing KKR’s win, they were left in shock after reports of the actor being hospitalised surfaced on the internet. As reported by News18, the Jawan star was admitted to the KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday afternoon. Upon reaching out to the hospital for an update on the actor’s health, the media publication reported that they refused to share any information regarding his health. The report adds that the 59-year-old actor-filmmaker was hospitalised after he suffered a heat stroke due to dehydration. News18 adds that SRK has been discharged. He along with his daughter Suhana Khan and younger son AbRam Khan, attended the match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is to be noted that his team is yet to share an official statement on the news. On the work front, after his movie Zero (2018) failed to do good business at the box office, the actor took a break. He went on to do cameo roles in movies like Lal Singh Chaddha, Brahmastra, and The Nambi Effect. He returned to the big screens with a bang in 2023 with blockbuster movies like Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. The actor is yet to announce his next project. If reports are to be believed, he will be making a return to YRF’s spy universe with Tiger VS Pathaan and Pathaan 2. He will reportedly be sharing the screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan for their upcoming film King.
